Advising Appointments
You will need to sign in using your myBama credentials to make an appointment. You can choose either an in-person or virtual appointment. In the comments section, enter what you would like to discuss during your appointment. Once you have scheduled an appointment, your confirmation will be sent to your Crimson email.
Advising Options During Peak Times
Peak advising times are from mid-October through mid-November and mid-March through mid-April annually. This means that advising appointments are in high demand and students who are unable to find an advising appointment are encouraged to check back daily for new advising appointment openings or attend one of our drop-in advising sessions (see below).

Attend an in-person or virtual Drop-In Advising Meeting
The BCAS Advisors offer same day advising services five days per week during the fall and spring semesters. Monday-Thursday in-person advising is held in 200 Clark Hall from 1:00-4:00 pm. Virtual drop-in advising via Zoom is on specific days from 1:00-3:30 pm. The links for upcoming virtual drop-in sessions are below. These are 5-7 minutes long and intended to provide assistance for unexpected situations, quick questions, referrals to campus departments and resources, or approving a schedule provided by the student.
In-Person Drop-in Advising (Monday through Thursday PM)
Drop-in advising is available in-person Monday through Thursday from 1:00-4:00 pm in 200 Clark Hall.
****Please note drop-in hours will be unavailable when the University is closed for business (ex: severe weather dismissals, Winter Break, Spring Break, etc.)
Virtual Drop-In Advising
Virtual Drop-In Advising is available specific days from 1:00-3:30 pm. These sessions are 5-7 minutes long and intended to provide assistance for unexpected situations, quick questions, referrals to campus departments and resources, or approving a schedule provided by the student.
